Don't Take Life for Granted

Welcome back to another edition of Monday Meaning, a weekly newsletter where we share helpful tips and resources to help you get just that much closer to achieving your dreams this week.

Our goal is to inspire as many people as we can to live out their dreams in life. So if you don’t feel inspired to go for your goals after reading this week’s email… well, we didn’t do a very good job, now did we?!

Here’s what we’re covering this week: How gratitude can help you get to where you want to be in life.

Alright, let’s get to it!

Lesson of the Week

I’ve always tried to be grateful for the things I have in life. But sometimes it’s easy to take them for granted.

Warm bed to sleep in, food to eat every day, that fan that blows cool air on my face on those warm summer nights (so pretty much every night right now).

But the thing I’m most grateful for and the thing that’s easiest to take for granted: Life.

Yep, life itself. Making it through each day still breathing and with my heart still beating.

And the same for those closest to me in life.

Because here’s the thing. It’s pretty easy to take life for granted. I mean, we’re just going through the motions of life day in and day out, right? It just… is.

Until it’s not.

One day everything can be all fine and dandy. Then the next? Life can hit you like a truck and completely flip your entire world upside down.

And I was reminded of that fact recently.

Now I’m even more grateful for everyone close to me and everything I have in my life.

Look, life is precious and time is fleeting.

Love unconditionally. Laugh uncontrollably. Live unapologetically.

You’ll never get today back. So make the most of it.

Quote of the Week

“Be grateful for every second of every day that you get to spend with people you love. Life is so very precious.”
