Make the Dash Count

Hey all!

A couple months ago, I started writing a weekly newsletter.

It started off as a fun and challenging way for me to get my ideas down and share them with a small audience.

And guess what? It grew into so much more.

I continue to write these weekly emails because I truly believe they can help others, just like they've helped myself. I get great feedback on them, so I must be doing something right!

So what exactly is this newsletter about?

Well, I recently came up with the name Mission to Meaning for these weekly emails. Because I believe life means something different to each and every one of us, and we're all trying to find that meaning for ourselves.

Whether it's a topic on growth, self-improvement, mindset, or just life itself, I think these emails can help you all find your purpose and live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

So that's exactly why I'll be posting these weekly newsletters right here on this blog! Because my goal with this brand is to inspire you to chase after your dreams and live a life you'll remember.

So if that's something you're interested in, make sure to sign up for our email list. Because you'll be the first to get these weekly emails! But if not, no worries. You can check back in here to read them every week.

Below is a past email I sent, so you can get an idea of what to expect.

Until next time. Take care,

Connor

Make the Dash Count

Have you ever really stopped to think about time?

It’s something that keeps passing us by, whether you want it to or not.

You can always get more money, knowledge, and material objects.

But time is finite. It’s the only true resource you can never get back.

We all have a limited time on this planet.

And someday you’re going to look back on your life.

Whether it be with fulfillment or regret.

Satisfaction or remorse.

Joy or sorrow.

That day will come. For all of us.

Because everybody dies. There’s no escaping it.

But the thing is, not everybody truly lives.

“Most people die at 25 and aren’t buried until they’re 75”

–Benjamin Franklin

We’ve seen it too many times before.

Working at a job you hate your whole life.

Regretting passing up the opportunity of a lifetime.

Walking down society’s path and working toward someone else’s dream.

Far too many people get stuck on autopilot.

They walk down the path of life with no intention other than to just get through the next day.

They act like life is a problem to be solved.

But in reality, it’s a mystery to be lived.

Don’t die without embracing the daring adventure your life was meant to be.

Because when it’s all said and done, you’ll be remembered by two numbers and a dash.

Every tombstone has two dates on it:

The day you were born and the day you died.

But in between those two numbers is a dash.

A dash that signifies what you stood for, how you lived, and all the stories you wrote.

Your only job is to make that dash count.

Because the book of life is only complete once you decide to stop writing it.

So embrace the adventure.
